«L'image comme moteur de changement social | Charlotte Marchesseault | TEDxHECMontreal
»This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. L'image comme moteur de changement social.
»Charlotte Marchessaeault was born in Montréal in 1986. After studying International Relations and Political Science at l’Université de Montréal, she finished a Masters degree in Administration of International Affairs at HEC Montréal. She carried out her final project in Brazil, studying the development of artisanal cooperatives in developing countries. She produced the documentary “Mulhares com coragem,” which won an award at the United Nations International Year of Cooperatives Short Film Festival in 2012. Fascinated by the discovery of new cultures, and armed only with her camera, she travels all continents. Convinced that photography and filming can have a social impact, she tries to share her experiences through all possible means.
»About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations).» (TEDx Talks - TEDxHECMontreal)
